Konacno nesto od Rock Star razvojnog tima sto odstupa od open-sand box endzina koji koriste u svojim igrama. U pitanju je detektivska avantura koja ce biti radjena u motion capture tehnologijom za sve likove u igri. Nisam ocekivao ovako nesto od Rock Stara. Meni deluje obecavajuce.

Bilo bi super kada bi dostigli nivo HR-a. Do sada ne postoji nista bolje tog tipa. Dobro je sto jos uvek postoji inicijativa za pravlenje igara ovog tipa. Po meni ovaj zanr u eri mocne tehnologije koju danas imamo ima mnogo da ponudi.

Već su pričali o ovome pre dve-tri godine. Imam podeljeno mošljenje o ovome.

Sa jednes strane tehnologija je fantastična. Stvarno prenose sve detalje glumaca i njhove emocije u igru.

Sa druge strane ovo ovo će još više da digne cenu proizvodnje koaj je ionako nehumano visoka. Došli smo do momenta gde treba da se troškovi sasecaju na svakom ćošku da bi izdavači preživeli. Sa ovakvom cenom razvoja bićemo osuđeni ka franšize za muženje a inovativnost, koja je i inače u problemu jer i nema mnogo gde da ode, će da plati najvišu cenu.

Garantujem da sam proveo više vremena igrajući Noitu love 2 nego neke stvarno dobre visokobudžetna remekdela tipa Ucharted 2 ili Mass Effect 2. A pogledajte koliko je koštao razvoj koje igre.

Meni se bas dopada American 30-40-te gangsta fazon sa kariranim smokinzima, oldtajmerima i dijalozima koji su u duhu tog vremena.:cool: Najveci problem ovakvih filmsko-interaktivnih igara je njihov nizak replay value. Vecina ima vise zavrsetaka, ali to se brzo odigra i igra je osudjena na prasnjavu policu. @Carnex imas pravo u vezi troskova produkcije, ali tesko da ce ovaj tehnoloski luksuz moci sebi da dozvole manje razvojne kuce. U ovom slucaju radi se o linearnoj igri sa 15-tak bitnih likova tako da nije preskupo uraditi motion capture za sve. Pored toga nisu angazovali zvucna imena Holivuda vec neafirmisane pozorisne glumce. Za vece i kompleksnije projekte tipa gta sa 1000 likova im to nece padati na pamet.

inace najvise me radujecinjenica sto ce igra mnogo vishe da se fokusira na adventure case solving a da ce biti mnooooogo manje akcije nego u gta igrama. Naravno divljanje igraca po ulicama grada mece takodje biti tolerisano.

Noir = ne mora da bude mrak non stop. :D Bitnije je da se radnja igre popuni sumornim dogadjajima i sneky/backstabing karakterima + at leat one femme fatale.

Ne mora da znaci da nece imati replay value. Meni licno je samo vazno da kampanja traje kol'ko treba. Isto obozavam ''gangsta'' setting, ovo izgleda kao pun pogodak.

Kao prvo, Rockstar je ovde izdavač. Igru razvija Team Bondi iz Australije a taj MotionScan sistem snimanja lica je njihova in-house razvijena tehnologija.
Drugo, u igri glume, između ostalih, John Noble (Denethor iz LOTR-a ili skorije Walter iz Fringe-a) i Aaron Staton (Mad Men). Naravno, nisu holivudski preplaćeni glumci tipa Đoleta Klunija ali ne bih rekao da tu uopšte ima mnogo neafirmisanih pozorišnih glumaca. Uglavnom glumci iz TV serija raznih produkcija (primetio sam i onog lika iz Charmed, Brian Krause). Well, since I got that out of the way... :)

Tehnologija je impresivna. Prvi L.A. Noire trejler sa likovima koji je izašao krajem prošle godine me je, na onako redak način, oduševio. E sad, ima tu dosta problema sa ovom MotionScan tehnologijom, bar za sada. Poenta je da kamere realtime prave 3D model glumčevog lica. Kao neki high-end Kinect jelte.
Primetićete da su modeli mutnjikavi u smislu poligona, teksture nisu tu toliki problem. Drugo, snimanje je isključivo moguće samo ako glumac sedi mirno i sme da se naginje samo 45 stepeni u svim pravcima. Ovo je vrlo primetno u trejlerima gde ponekad imate utisak da se glava pomalo neprirodno pomera u odnosu na telo. Mogu da se kladim da će likovi na većini scena u igri biti u nekom mirnom stajaćem ili sedećem položaju. To je sigurno i jedan od razloga što prave detektivsku igru, dosta statičnog ispitivanja. A opet, ostatak modela, telo, ruke, pa okolina nisu ni izbliza tako realni kao lica pa sve izgleda još čudnije.

A da, zaboravio sam da kažem da je ovo i vrlo prljav i pokvaren način da developeri dođu do dobro modelovanih lica i njihovih animacija :lol:. Imate brdo ljudi čiji je posao upravo da naprave uverljive modele i zasebno, animatore lica likova koji bi praktično postali nepotrebni :lol:. A ako nekoga interesuje, reklo bi se i da se gubi neki umetnički prestiž u modelovanju i animiranju što uverljivijeg lica. In other words, it's a bit cheapassed and lame, technically.

tl;dr, mislim da bi ova tehnologija ima mnogo potencijala, pogotovo kada se bude unapredila. Pitanje je koliko će L.A. Noire biti popularna (koliko će se prodati). Ovo me neodoljivo podseća na bum FMV igara 90'ih, sa očajnom glumom itd. gde je jednostavno bio cool gimmick da imaš glumce sa cheesy scenama. A svi znamo kako se to završilo.

Delimicno se slazem sa tvojim stavom u vezi modeliranja i animacija. Medjutim, ako se ova tehnologija usavrsi, pokaze dobro u praksi i pritom ne bude preterano skupa, desice se upravo to sto si predvideo. Sta ce ti gomila dizajnera i anmatora kad mozes da upotrebis motion scan i da dobijes odlicne rezultate.

Samo pitanje je koliko se to moze koristiti za npr animaciju neki alien-a i slicno, a i sto Ktulu kaze nisu sve igre ovako staticne, da li mogu nesto da urade sa likovima koji skacu/prevrcu se itd.

Ako napraviš fizionomiju lica dovoljno bliskom možeš ber problema da "nakalemiš" kretanje mišića na drugo lice. Uostalom mislim da je to i prava primena ove tehnologije a ne bukvalno prenošenje lica glumca. Ja očekujem da će ova tehnologija za desetak godina biti mnogo jeftinija i portabilnija. Ako se sećate pre dve-tri godine je prikazivana tehnologija koja je snimala lice uz pomoć nekoliko kamera i proizvodila ne samo 3D žićani model lica već i model mišića u licu. To mi je mnogo impresivnije od ovoga.

Želim da još nešto da napomenem. Iako će možda jedan ili dva animatora izgubiti posao 3D modelari i dizajneri neće jer ješ uvek treba neko da dizajnira sve pa i te likove. I mada će vremenom ovo možda i smanjiti troškovoe, opet ovo gura realnost. A igre su me zainteresovale kao produkt mašte. Medij u kojem nikakva pravila ne postoje i dok god uspeš da napraviš neki smisao od toga što prikazuješ sve je OK.

Hoćeš da imaš planetu na kojoj gravitacija potiče od tankog površinskog sloja i potpuno je šuplja u 99.99999% svoje zapremine?. OK, nema problema. Želiš da imaš univerzum gde materija i energija ne mogu da obitavaju na istom prostoru? Može i to. To je mašta, a ovo je samo suvo kopiranje realnsti oko nas.

Evo novog klipa koji govori nesto vise o igri. Koliko vidim imace i akcione etape ala GTA. In the end, iver ne pada daleko od klade. GTA endzin je smorio i Boga i narod, ali meni ovo i dalje obecava.

Dobra je ona scena kad dolaze na mesto ubistva i glavni protagonista izgovara:" Cole Phelps traffic, what do we got" sa sve kariranim odelom i vrhunskom glumom i voice-om. Stvarno obecava!

Animatora nije bilo. Sve su radili glumci u 2 navrata. Jednom snimanje tela, i onda snimanje faca u odvojenom studiju.

A sto se noira tice, igra savrsheno upada u taj filmski zanr.

Odigrao sam nekih 5-6 slucajeva, za sad mi deluje kao fun game... samo ako odrzi ovaj tempo do kraja bice odlicno, da ne pocne da smara kao GTA.
