Recently Capcom has revealed a new Mega Man series \"Mega Man Zex\" for the Nintendo DS.

I personally like the Megaman X series the best, though I havn\'t played 7+. I\'d probably like legends the best, if they\'d make more.

Snipies. I forgot to mention that \"Mega Man X Collection\" hits stores this week, it feautures Mega Man X-X6 and the unreleased( In america) Megaman Battle and Chase. The X games come with remixed soundtracks and other extras.

X-X5 with remixed soundtracks in worth 30 dollors

Most early platformers suffer from that.
Mario-> Save the princess
Sonic-> Stop Eggman
Megaman -> Stop Wily

actually, i like megaman, its leet. the games are good pasttimes, and the cartoons were fun. dunno what happened...it just died all of a sudden with all the spin-offs.

Same goes for games. Thats what makes Megaman Series boring.

Dude, you play megaman for the incredible gameplay, not for the plot.

I just think the megaman games are hard. The Zero series kicks ass though, Megaman Zero was my first Megaman Game (Other than BN, but that\'s a whole different thing.)

No... Megaman was basic run and gun, with the ability to steal boss powers giving you weapons. Plus you had Rush. In X you get dashes, different armor\'s and the ability to play as Zero. (Who plays totally differently.) Then there\'s saving reploids and what-not. Legends was 3D and not a sidescroller. Battle Network is basically card battles, and zero is zero, with more weapons. So basically more weapons + more playable characters = new gameplay.

You should, if you haven\'t already, pick up Mega Man Anniversary Collection. 10 games, remixed music (PS2 version) and good ol\' classic Megaman. Mega Man (Originals) has a reputation for being well.. Cheap. Especially in the early Mega Mans, Dr.Wily still pisses the hell out of me.

I still haven\'t bought X collection, but it\'s getting fairly good reviews. X1-5 is where it\'s at...X6 can just go to hell.

I personally love the X-series. I haven\'t played all of em, but I still think they\'re good.

I also like the Zero series, though its really hard.

Megaman is awsome! I have Battle Network 3 in my GBA right now, simple because its my ALL time favourite GBA game.
Me and about 7 others used to sit at lunch and battle each other, and in our spare time complete the mini challenges and stuff...
