Sonic has gone completely haywire these days the crap they pull out is unbelevable why cant they make a good old Sonic dreamcast remake for a new console or just make it like those on the dreamcast and make it a carry on from those or something...if they made a racing game it should have been a on foot racing game.

Man, Someone buy the game and tell me how it is. i gotta choose between SC3, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Gun. I have about 60 dollars right now so i can buy one of them then the other two I\'ll ask for one as Birthday or christmas gifts and i dont want to have to return any birthday or christmas gifts. course by those times, I\'ll probably want somthing else besides those games.

Anyways, Shadow will undoubtly be more popular than Rush, seeing as how Shadow is a fan favorite. One preview of the game says, like Heroes, it suffers from pointless stops in speed to fight badguys.
If it plays anything like Heroes, I will disown Sega as my child.
Rush however is being proclaimed the best Sonic game since Sonic and Knuckles, if not ever.

Well, both came out today.. and here are some of my impressions
Shadow
Ive only played through the first level, but here are my early impressions. You\'re dropped into a action filled first level, with the black aliens and the army dooking it out. Now the way the \"Hero or Villain\" thing works is, if you kill all the aliens you complete a Hero mission and vise a versa. Neutral missions can be achieved by killing neither all of the army or aliens. The gameplay seems better that Heroes, Heroes was a lot more coursed while this feels very open. It has some big problems though, you\'ll find yourself getting hit alot.. and you\'ll stop a lotto attack enemies. The guns really don\'t take much away from the gameplay.. It\'s sorta a mix between Ratchet and Clank and Sonic Adventure 2. Now the gun play isn\'t as flowing as R&C, but it\'s not bad.
I got to test out the vehicles. The one I played was clunky and had terrible controls.
So far I\'d say the game has alittle promise.. I don\'t expect it to be better than the Adventure speed levels, but it certainly seems a tad better than Heroes.
Rush
You start off as only having Sonic playable, the first level feels smooth, much like the levels in the advance series. As you progress you definitely get the feeling of speed. The R button allows you to gain extra distance, like in the advance series. The X button allows you to gain a extra rush, by setting you character into a mad dash.
The levels are designed very nicely, you\'ll find yourself switching your eyes between the top and bottom screen almost instinctively. The levels are scattered with different paths, each filled with large amounts robots.
The boss battle, the one Ive played, was the highlight of my early play. The boss was designed well, give you a nice change from the normal bosses of Sonic. It switches in and out of 3d-2d naturally, making it a pleasure.
If you have a DS get this game. Now.
Also pick up Mario Kart...I love me some DS.
